Favorite Amazon Things

I recently received a gift card to use at Amazon. I browsed the website a lot and thought about really what to use it on. I’m certain I could be a professional overthinker. I had just moved into a new place and could use some new things to cheer me up because I really dislike moving. I didn’t want to use it all on boring, everyday household items. I found a couple of items that I really like and wanted to write a blog post about because I would recommend them to others. Disclaimer: This is not an affiliate post.

So, here it is! A little tissue box cover. It is available in a variety of colors but I chose white because it is a classic and looks so clean and fresh. The tissues easily come out of the chimney like a homey stream of smoke. This other item looks less attractive laid out like it is in the picture. It is a faux plant called String of Pearls. With my browsing online, I discovered they are a popular item right now and got the feeling they can be hard to keep alive. As a working-student, I only have so much time, especially for plants that are not hardy. I also wanted to put it on my desk where it would not get a lot of natural lighting so I thought why not get the realest (Grammarly doesn’t like this word) looking fake plant. They are made of high-quality materials and have a rubbery texture. I already had a little pot to put them in so I set them in there, arranged the strings and they are secure without supports or weights and give the pot a nice, full look. It is the perfect compliment to my personal desk area. If you want to buy these items for yourself, I’ve included the links.

Cheers to the little things that make us happy.
