This is one of my favorite books I like to re-read over and over. I have two books in this series and I’m always interested in additional books when I see them. The series is about boundaries by Henry Cloud and John Townsend. I would like to relax in comfortable clothing which warm socks, a fuzzy blanket, and a cup of tea on a cold wintery day and soak in every word. I’ve learned a lot reading it and every time I re-read it, I learn something new.

Many of us have encountered people in our professional or personal life where it is almost as if they can sense we don’t have good boundaries. Whether it’s a spouse, a coworker, or a client, they may be very needy or flat out just run over you in a steam roller fashion causing chaos or confusion. It may seem as if they only care more about themselves and what they need without giving a thought to your own life. Enter Boundaries. There is power in saying no. All of us have limited time resources and energy and people that genuinely care about you and have your best interests in mind truly understand that.

The book is advertised as “When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life and is available where ever books are sold. There are boundary books for marriage, dating, and the regular life stuff. I highly recommend this book and it was one of the best books I purchased at the advice of my late aunt. How are you doing with boundaries in your life? Let me know in the comments.
